Frequently asked questions
The questions we get asked most before people order.
Where is the cloud?
Our cloud is hosted in Argentina with a backup datacenter in the United States.
Where is my VPS located?
Your VPS runs on a latest-generation high-availability server in Argentina.
What if I need more resources?
Just ask us and we expand your server to the resources you need.
Is there a minimum term or contract?
We do not tie our customers down; you can cancel our services whenever you wish. We do have a service agreement setting out our obligations to you.
Can I pay in cash?
Yes, you can pay in cash. All methods are listed in the Payment methods section.
Who are we?
Our story goes back to 2003. We started out advising clients and, given the lack of professionalism in Argentine hosting, we decided to set up our own company. With offices in Buenos Aires and Mendoza, we are now an established business focused on customer service.
How do we work?
We work by solving our customers needs and problems, delivering quality service and the confidence you need to focus on your own business.
Do prices go up regularly?
Our price list is based on several factors and we try to keep it stable over time, so you are not facing month-on-month increases.
What is the cloud?
Technically the cloud is the name given to large-scale processing and storage of data on servers that hold the user information. The idea comes from instant, always-on access to your data wherever you are, from mobile devices as well as desktops or laptops.
Is my data safe?
Yes. Your data is kept securely on our servers, using SSL certificates like the ones major banks use.
How long does it take to get an answer?
Enquiries sent through the form are answered within one business day. Incidents from customers with active services are handled immediately by phone or ticket, and critical ones have out-of-hours cover.
Can I try the service before buying?
Yes. The usual path is to take the smallest plan for a month and scale without migrating if it works. For larger projects a trial can be arranged with the sales team.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Bank transfer, credit and debit card, and the usual Argentine electronic payment methods. Invoicing is local, in pesos, with VAT itemised and tax ID.
Do you issue A-type invoices?
Yes, with tax ID and itemised VAT for registered taxpayers. B-type invoices are also available for end consumers and small taxpayers.
What happens if a payment is late?
There are reminders by email before any suspension, and a grace period with the service suspended but the data untouched. Deletion is never immediate or unannounced.
How do I report a payment I already made?
Through the payment registration form on this site, attaching the receipt. It goes straight to accounts and is credited once verified.
Do you work with agencies and developers?
Yes. There are terms for those managing several clients, with consolidated invoicing and a direct technical channel that skips the general support queue.
Where are the servers physically located?
In our own datacenter in the City of Buenos Aires, with redundant power, cooling and multi-provider connectivity. There is also infrastructure in the United States and Europe for those who need it based on where their audience is.
Can I change plans later on?
Yes, upward at any time and without migrating: the account is adjusted and that is it. Downward changes are coordinated when usage allows, so the service is not left short of resources.
What happens to my data if I decide to leave?
They are yours and they are handed over. You get the full backup —files, database and mail— in a standard format, and we assist with the migration to the new provider if needed.
